I pre-ordered this the first week of April. And the wait is over. It is here after the mailman missed twice. But I seem to have had some better luck than some.

Going to go get some lunch and after will take some pics and then size so I can put it on later too. Nice looker. I guess I have to wear it when the Gators play huh? LOL :D

Well as with my Corsair the bracelet is not bad at all for the price point. This one is a little looser in the links than the other though. Pulls at the arm hairs some on me. :)

Lume is a simple average and not worthy of a pic really. :D

This is a fun little 42mm case watch with a modded Eta 2836 to do a GMT function. I like GMT's with family and friends all over the place. LOL. :D  ;)

Skip,

That is a super watch.  I prefer the new color scheme but that is just a minor, personal choice.

I do agree with you about the bracelet.  The ones on the Corsair were tighter.  Look at the clasp and you can find a slight difference also.  The Corsair locks under the flip lock but at the 2 to one folding point too.

Enjoy that looker!!!

Thanks much. Fred did not send a warning it was shipped so I missed it the first time and the 2ed time a sub-carrier misplaced it. But my regular carrier found and brought it to me first thing this morning. Very cool of him. ;)

Man Skip, I've been eyeballing the Globemaster too.  I really like the color combo and the style of the GMT hand!  But the arm hair pulling I can do without! mistake.gif

I wonder what kind of strap might look good with it.

In any case, congrats on another very cool purchase.  Enjoy it! hand6.gif

I moved the clasp pin in just one which tightens about a eighth of a inch and no more arm hair pulling. LOL I guess it was just a tad to loose. :D

Fred sent a nice orange rubber strap I may put on it later in the Summer. I have a black one with the Corsair that i have yet to put on it though.

I was so glad he made up some with the old colors. With so many black dial watches if there is another option I take it some times.

It is a beauty guyz. ;)

Thanks Mark. Yea I am surprised Fred can still go with the price point he dose at full sale price. The preorder price was a steal. :D

With a solid link bracelet, the upgraded nicer clasp and a Eta 2836 for under $600 or even $700 now days is amazing. ;)

Great watch, Dawg!  I ordered one, too (primarily to wear during Gator games)...unfortunately, mine came with something under the crystal.  Bernhardt immediately sent a new one (which should be here today), told me to feel free to wear the other and let them know what the return postage was so that they could reimburse me for shipping...Oh, and they apologized for my inconvenience!!!

As to the new color (Black), I do like it...very sharp.  My problem is that it has a dive bezel on it and not a GMT!

Ken I think you will like this. Like the simplicity of it. Nice looking but can be worn as a beater or game time watch. LOL :D

I do like it...I have had the "flawed" one since Monday (and the replacement just arrived this afternoon - quick service).  It is well built, hefty and I actually like the modified ETA 2836 better than the ETA 2893-A2 production GMT movement.
