I picked these up in a little antique shope in Asheveille, NC when I was down there for the holidays...just now getting a chance to post.

Without a doubt the best antique store snag I've ever had.

From what I have been able to get via research these are Hamilton Chronos from the 1980's, they both came in the original box with all the papers.

The black dial is about 39mm, on the original strap with buckle and has a 40J Lemania cal 283 movement.  This movement is a base ETA 2892-2 with a Lemania designed and manufactured chrono module.  Notice the sub dial placement on this watch the seconds are at 12:00, the minute register is at 9:00 and the hour register is at 6:00.

The white dial is about 38mm and has a Val 7750 movement, nice surprise!!

Should have been wearing a mask when I made them an offer for both of them, but they took it and I walked out a happy camper.

Sending them both out for a COA, not sure if they have ever been serviced.

Here are some pics.....

Awesome!
I especially like the "Lancaster PA" on the back of the black dial since I was just there last weekend.  Congratulations! hand6.gif

That`s a very nice pickup. Have`nt seen the black & gold model of that one before. That is a killer looking piece.
I have a black dial (newman) from the same era, still looking for a panda nos to accompany it someday.

Nice find...I really like the Hammys, and have several, I think I might look into the older version soon! Cheers.
