My aunt sent this up with my mom when she was here for Christmas since she knows I am into watches.  My aunt got it for a graduation gift from my grandparents over 50 years ago. She always complained though that she only got a watch and my uncle got a 54 vette for his graduation.
It actually still works.  I dont know alot about Benrus.  Are they a collectable brand? This will be going for a good cleaning and a lube job when the Gallet is returned.

I know you guys probably dont want to see it but maybe the girls will.  subtlelaugh.gif

Thanks guys.  I also have a Helbros that was my Grandpaps.  This one will go to my cousins kids (my Aunts grandkids) sometime in the future.  I will keep it in good shape so they can hand it down.

Thanks O'.  I dont know if its 14 k or not.  I have to get a magnifying glass to see.  The letters are so small that I cant read them.  It makes me wonder that it may be because like I said, my grandparents bought my uncle a 54 vette for his grad so, the watch may be white gold.   And yes, the bracelet is in excellent shape.
