SUMO? Meet my new Seiko SBDC 003, also known as the Sumo. Blue dial. 45mm bezel and 15mm high. Hacking. Automatic. Great, great lume. Though it's 45mm, it doesnt wear very big and is just about as heavy as a Rolex Sub.

I will make a mini review after a week or so of use. Hope you like it.

And now, the wrist shot

That is one cool10.gifmachine!

I really like the bold numbers on the bezel, and understated  crown.
I'm curious: if it hacks, can it be manually wound?
Enjoy!

Congrats on the SUMO Bigrusty!!!ThumbsUp02.gif

This is interesting timing, as I just received a Black SUMO in the mail YESTERDAY!!!

I'm going to try to get some pics and comments posted in the next day or so as well, but I agree with your comments 100%...this one is a very nice piece, and wears very comfortably...much smaller than the 45mm bezel would suggest.

Enjoy...she's a beauty!!

Congratulations Jeff on the sweet looking new Seiko!!! hand6.gifhand6.gif  I really dig the over-sized hands and minute markers on the cool blue dial. cool10.gif  I think the size of the watch, color and very bright lume would make the Sumo a watch that folks would notice. woohoo.gif  I would love to see a lume shot (although, I still can't figure out how to take a good lume picture) because Seiko is legendary for their bright lume! hand6.gifhand6.gif  Enjoy wearing your new Sumo the next time you go fishing or are out and about in Auckland, cheers buddy.  perfect.gif
