Hey, congratulations in beating me
in the Bargain Vintage Watch Category...
I love the way the Alpina looks.

Good news is that Alpina Watch Co.
is alive and kicking.

Cheers,
Simon

Omegaman, I am itching to give that Alpina a day or 2 at the restoration spa. I'll bet it will look 100 times better. Wear it in good healthhand6.gif

Well it finally arrived and it looks even better in person. It turns out that the bracelet is 18K gold filled that is still very nice. Will try and post more pics tomorrow.

Regards

For $9.90 the movement looks
well preserved. With older watches,you'll
find that the nickel plating on the movement
has worn off. This is not the case.

I must say that is a very cool watch.

Cheers,
Simon

Thanks Simon. When I saw that the dust cover was still there, I knew the movement had to be in good shape.smile8.gif

Cheers.
