Well, I did the preview with borrowed pics. Now it got here, and I have the real ones! The obliged wrist shot  Dial printing and decoration are perfect, and the black second hand with the logo is classy. Does not feel big compared to the Monstrum I was using today... but it is a 40mm, so not that small. One of the reasons behind my purchase was the bargain price, at roughly the price of the movement. And I was missing and wanting a 2893 in my collection. The movement is nicely decorated, far better than most of the 2824's I have seen. Beautiful "cotes de Geneve" all over the movement and rotor. The logo deeply engraved in the rotor (as well as in the crown), giving it a quality look.  Good quality leather strap, with a very nice deeply engraved logo deployant. Presentation wooden box is top notch as well, with a big and nice velvet pillow with golden logo (the only better one I have is the one that came with my Gevril inside...). Bottom line, a very well made and presented watch, with top notch movement, and the price I paid is a steal. Attention to detail and build quality are outstanding Very happy with it for the moment! I am timing it, but do not expect any surprises. As a matter of fact, in the first 3 hours, it is still in the "second" range with the quartz using for timing. "hanging out" in front of some of the boys...  |
