This came with the Postman:)

It has the 6r15 inside and after the first 25 hour it has lost 2 secface4.gif
I have a new Chronometer in my collectiontoon1.gif

The Alpinist was introduced in 1961 so it has long traditons and it was the first serious sportswatch Seiko made.
The finish on this watch can easily compare with my Swiss made watches.

And now the pics woohoo.gif

Some wristshots:)

Thanks for lookinghappy1.gif

That is an awesome watch.  I've been close to ordering but have yet to pull the trigger.  Congratulations.

How are you finding the size?  Is it about 38mm?  My concern is that it's a bit undersized.  Your thoughts?

I like the look of that watch and have considered it myself, it has a useful 20BAR WR and a different look with the green dial and the cathedral hands, don't see them for sale very often in the UK. Congratulations on your watch.hand6.gif

If were mine I would change that strap though for something more sporty looking.

There's nothing other to say than congrats on a true beauty. Hands down one of the 10 "prettiest" watches in my book. Big congrats!
