Lately I've been at a crossroads with my collection.  Most everything I have are dive watches, and I was looking for somehting a little different, AND a little smaller.  I'm getting kind of burned out on the big, chunky 44mm and larger stuff.  I was looking at some German watches and this 38.5 mm Sinn hit me right between the eyes.  It has a screw down crown and is rated to 200m so I'm not going to have to worry about getting it wet.  It kind of has that Rolex Explorer I feel to it with the size.  I like it, and it looks good on a bunch of different straps.

David, that's an excellent choice to stray away from a diver. Sinn means business and the watch goes straigh to the point.

Just my opinion, I think a black leather strap would just add tons of personality to it. Brown is ok but for this one, I think black would just be elegant.

As for German brands, check out the Nomos line. They have a Tangente line and they're good. Design is Bauhaus so just like your Sinn, they are not cluttered and also go straight to the point. hand6.gif

David nice pickup. The simple design and quality Sinn bring to the table makes this an attractive piece. If they would just make it two mm bigger I think I would be powerless to resist.

Very similar in simplicity to my Omega Railmaster. Gorgeous. LOVE the pilot hands. Congratulations on a beautiful timepiece.
