I truly do have a camera yet to make the quality photos these should be. I'm working on it! I just wanted to provide something to prove what 3T has done to me. Any Point & Shoot shots welcome ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nanoman, my heart goes out to you. There's no cure to what you have. It's called the "3T obssesive-compulsive, horological item multiplicative ownership, concealed from the missus syndrome". I've had it for years and the diagnosis is that it's contagious but harmless. The only cure I know is half a pint of single malt whisky straight up, once a day. |

Wow! Great lineup Nanoman! Every single one is a beauty, great taste and well done! Unfortunately, I have a bad news for you. Well, it looks like you are really infected...I would say it's too late for you man, you will probably carry this VIRUS for the rest of your life. I'm sorry to give you this bad diagnostic but, I think you'll die with it :D;) Jeff, you are really, really bad! Your medicine can make him even sicker! |

Nanoman...that is a spectacular lineup you have there...just fantastic ...Nice pics too...don't let the point-and-shoot keep you from posting up pics...the WIS's at 3T really appreciate the effort...all my pics are still p&s only pics, but I think I'm improving as time goes on. I've found that buying more watches really helps your point-and-shoot skills improve by leaps and bounds Oh...you've definitely got the disease!!!!! |

oh dear oh dear oh dear......its spreading bad...I have this too!! As for pictures unless you have a nice light box I found daylight is the best....really nice colours etc, though I am not too great at it and use an A3 white paper book in daylight half open so you have a white bottom and white background then add stuff in. You have real great time pieces there...is there a cure???.....do we want it? |

Do not be concerned with your new watch virus, it is only terminal if your wife finds out. And never ever ever drink and surf watch sites. I got pulled over by the web police last month for exceeding the posted spending limit while blowing a slightly elevated blood alcohol level. I got sentenced to 7 days on ebay, have to attend a program for problem shoppers, and I am on double secret probation. I am now making my purchases under an assumed name to avoid the authorities.........namely.......my wife. |

Nice collection! I'm sure one day soon they'll come up with a clinical definition of what we have, but until then ENJOY! smile8.gif |

I don't care what anyone says, there is no "cure" for what we have. As far as addictions go, I can say from experience that it's relatively benign one. Unless those of us with wives get caught with the latest purchase |

I think it best not to fight it; you'll only end up hurting yourself. The scotch will help. |

My wife and I were having dinner out last night when she said, "I should have bought you a watch for Valentine's Day." She said it only halfheartedly, but that was all I needed to justify another purchase. Kobold Arctic Diver with date is on the way, if only used, which is the only way to buy Kobold anyway. If she only knew about the BaliHa'i I acquired last month or the Dievas Vortex that should show up within weeks, she would be kicking herself for even suggesting another purchase. So I have some cover, at least. When I bought the BaliHa'i, I said, "That's it for a while." Yeah, right. It's a disease, no doubt about it. But it's an enjoyable one. ![]() |

I am in the same boat....though I do not want any more children if my wife found out what I had been buying without her knowing, having children would be an impossibility after she would have finished with me!! |

Bad news: it's not curable! The sooner you accept it, the better off you are, the less money you'll spend on doctors&drugs... and the more money you'll have for the good news... Good news: Good advice posted above, scotch will help and there always more wonderful timepieces out there for you to buy and get your...hum... Fix!!;) and also we ALL ARE HERE for you! We DO understand and sympathize:) you have a great collection, thanks for posting your pics!! I'm jealous of your Bali Hai and Boschett:) I also use a point & shoot camera and with practice and more watches Welcome to the family and just pray your wife doesn't find out about ALL your purchases!! Cheers. Brice |

Definition of 3T = facilitatus maximus ! Just have fun mate - back off if the sheer number of watches exceeds the capacity to buy and hold. Treat 'em like stocks and bonds - ditch the underperformers and focus on the "next big thing"! Cheers and congrats on a very nice collection of timepieces, photographed really well! IanM hand6.gif |

So I was gonna say something like, "Wow those are 5 great watches to take care of Monday - Friday! But now you've got to start on Saturday and Sunday..." But then I read the part about the Kobold and Dievas! You've got it bad alright! The best thing about the WIS affliction is that it absorbs so much $$$ that there's nothing left for other vices like drinking, drugs, gambling, or <ladies who provide entertainment>... See, we're just being RESPONSIBLE here. |
