Nanoman, my heart goes out to you. There's no cure to what you have. It's called the "3T obssesive-compulsive, horological item multiplicative ownership, concealed from the missus syndrome". I've had it for years and the diagnosis is that it's contagious but harmless. The only cure I know is half a pint of single malt whisky straight up, once a day.  |

Nanoman...that is a spectacular lineup you have there...just fantastic  hearteyes.gif...Nice pics too...don't let the point-and-shoot keep you from posting up pics...the WIS's at 3T really appreciate the effort...all my pics are still p&s only pics, but I think I'm improving as time goes on. I've found that buying more watches really helps your point-and-shoot skills improve by leaps and bounds yahoo.gif...so you know what you need to do if you want your photography skills to improve quickly. woohoo.gifOh...you've definitely got the disease!!!!! |

oh dear oh dear oh dear......its spreading bad...I have this too!! As for pictures unless you have a nice light box I found daylight is the best....really nice colours etc, though I am not too great at it and use an A3 white paper book in daylight half open so you have a white bottom and white background then add stuff in. You have real great time pieces there...is there a cure???.....do we want it? |

Thanks for the support and I will keep posting more pics. For now my I will take my meds and no doubt I will be searching for the Moray Dart dial which I will buythe minute I find the right price. I do have a Megalodon coming on the 24th so look out doc I will have to cancel my appointment another month. Oh Wait the blue Viper comes in March so April! Again thanks for the support! |

Do not be concerned with your new watch virus, it is only terminal if your wife finds out. And never ever ever drink and surf watch sites. I got pulled over by the web police last month for exceeding the posted spending limit while blowing a slightly elevated blood alcohol level. I got sentenced to 7 days on ebay, have to attend a program for problem shoppers, and I am on double secret probation. I am now making my purchases under an assumed name to avoid the authorities.........namely.......my wife. |

I don't care what anyone says, there is no "cure" for what we have. As far as addictions go, I can say from experience that it's relatively benign one. Unless those of us with wives get caught with the latest purchase . Nice line-up you have. Enjoy them and wear them in good health . |

My wife and I were having dinner out last night when she said, "I should have bought you a watch for Valentine's Day." She said it only halfheartedly, but that was all I needed to justify another purchase. Kobold Arctic Diver with date is on the way, if only used, which is the only way to buy Kobold anyway. If she only knew about the BaliHa'i I acquired last month or the Dievas Vortex that should show up within weeks, she would be kicking herself for even suggesting another purchase. So I have some cover, at least. When I bought the BaliHa'i, I said, "That's it for a while." Yeah, right. It's a disease, no doubt about it. But it's an enjoyable one.  |

Bad news: it's not curable! The sooner you accept it, the better off you are, the less money you'll spend on doctors&drugs... and the more money you'll have for the good news... Good news: Good advice posted above, scotch will help and there always more wonderful timepieces out there for you to buy and get your...hum... Fix!!;) and also we ALL ARE HERE for you! We DO understand and sympathize:) you have a great collection, thanks for posting your pics!! I'm jealous of your Bali Hai and Boschett:) I also use a point & shoot camera and with practice and more watches I got better!!;) so buy more watches, take pics and post away!!!Welcome to the family and just pray your wife doesn't find out about ALL your purchases!!
