I also just bought this sweet Seiko 6309 that is pretty much oringinal except for the bezel and crystal. The only thing I am going to do is to get a relume of the dial and hands since it is non-existent. Also all the gaskets will be replaced too. Enjoy the pics, Terry.

Chris, I have been looking for a good one without breaking the bank and this one I found in a post from about 2 months ago that never sold. So I picked it up for $100!thumbsup.gif I really want a beater 6309 that I could convert into a semi-custom 6105 but this one is so sweet the only thing it is going to get is a relume job. I will keep my eyes open for another 6105 for the future I think.

Oh and I forgot to mention it is going to get a Super Oyster bracelet too.

Chris when you get yours in please send me some pics.

Thanks, Terry

Terry, that is quite a find and price for an original one like you've got here.  We obviously have the same taste in vintage seiko's as the 6105 is at the top of my list.  With my incoming, I went with one that had already been re-done including a movement that had been completely overhauled and checked for water resistance (I struggled a bit with the original versus not-completely original concept and ended up jumping on one that I got at a great deal at ~$115 shipped)...the price definitely lured me in and heck, at that price, what do I have to loose.  It does have an aftermarket dial (versus original) though and relumed hands.  I will be sure to post up pics when it arrives.
