I've wanted an HEQ watch for a while and being a Breitling fan, the Airwolf has been on my wantlist.  I recently decided to go for it and was able to locate one in the configuration I wanted (black pin-stripe dial & solid minute hand).  It arrived today and I'm a happy camper!  yahoo.gif

Being mainly a fan of mechanical watches, it's hard to believe that the two watches I've spent the most money on both contain a quartz crystal (the other one being a Seiko Ananta Spring Drive), but I guess at the end of the day, I just love great watches, and the Airwolf really appeals to the engineer in me.subtlelaugh.gif

Anyway, here are a few quick pics:

Thanks for the comments guys! I know the Airwolf doesn't have the following of the Breitling B-1, but I really like it. It's definitely a big piece thanks to the 16.5mm thickness, but I guess I've had enough practice wearing big watches such as the Megalodon, LOL!

Thanks Stew!  You know, the analog second hand ticking in unison with the digital time display on this watch is almost as cool as the smooth sweeping mechanical second hand.subtlelaugh.gif

If any quartz watch (Spring Drive doesn't count in my book) is going to appeal to a mechanical watch fan, this might be it.

Well the spring drive is automatic, just the balance wheel time is regulated by the quartz controlled magnet. Its amazing, you have 2 wonderful watches there!!
