Hey all, it's been awhile, lots going on to even try to describe (plus I was building more than buying), so I'll just show some 2010 arrivals, starting from around February/March through to last weekboy10.gif

I grabbed this on a sale, wanted one for years but wouldn't/couldn't pay full price, a YES Cozmo (on Hirsch Extreme)

Blowout sale on these with a leather strap, swapped it out for rubber to scratch a big diver itch:

Same thing with a field watch itch, another sale:

I love the look of the Milgauss but not the price of the real thing, so how about an eBay homage for $30(!)  Runs spot on too, and the DiModell strap was the same price as the watch subtlelaugh.gif

I bought this cheap to mod, but other than changing out the folded link bracelet for a Z-22 I may leave it stock:

An April birthday present from my wife and kids, after discounts and "Kohl's Cash" it was almost free(!)

While looking to scratch a Vostok itch, I spotted this and couldn't resist this time around, I thought they were gone for good:

I've wanted an Alpinist for a long time, I finally broke down and said what the heck!

Same with this, saw one on a sales corner, missed it, tracked down a vendor in Spain:

And finally, another I've been wanting for quite awhile, found out there were only a few left, sold some plasmatoon1.gif and snagged it:

I built and modded a few watches from last summer through the winter time, I have one more project left so I'll post them all in the modders forum when I complete it.

Cheers,
Griff

Thanks Tony!

I have 6 that I built/modded since this time last year too, I can't wait to complete my last project for now, a vintage diver style.

Welcome back, Griff!
My golly, you have been arduous in accumulating horological instruments!subtlelaugh.gif
Now stick around and linger over here.  After all, that other place you frequent doesn't have the same sprit. now does it?sponge bob.gif

Great to see you Griff! Hope we'll be seeing more of you.Thumbsup3.gif

My you have been a busy boy. Love the Alpinist especially!. I have been thinking about the Momentum quartz diver I sold some time back. That's a kick ass grab and go diver. And I'm glad you had some plasma to sell for the Precista... cool watch!

Nice pickups buddy!wowzer.gif

That is a great chrono from Vostok you have, keep that bad boy it has a Poljot 3133 movement as far as I know.

Yes, the Vostok chrono does have a 3133. Those watches were never "official" as they don't exist in either the Vostok or Poljot catalogs, but were made nonetheless :-)

There is a series, all Vostok mil style dials, my favorite was always the green but there are multiple black versions too.

A fellow over on the Russian forum at WUS has/had them all, including the very rare airforce jet version.

Thank you!  Too many probably, but all of them grabbed me in some way.  :-)
