Well, I couldn't sell my Debaufre CSAR so I did the next best thing....I traded it.  And here is the result.

What a great piece.  I think I'm going to pick up a nice, soft rubber strap and I might dress it up with a leather strap but I'm not sure of the color.

Any thoughts on strap color?  What have you guys been doing for straps?

Congrats! That's a great looking watch. I'm still thinking of picking up that same model. Thumbsup3.gif

Congrats on the Sea Viper pauliedoggs...another very cool, well built and very unique piece from ORSA.

The bracelet is awesome, but like you are thinking...I've had mine on a couple different rubber straps and it is really nice on rubber.

Here it is on a very inexpensive fitted rubber, but I'm not sold that this is "the" right combo for me...if you look around a little using the search function, someone showed a nice notched leather that looked really great!!!

Thanks, stew77. I like that strap. I was going to check out Panatime and Steve-O. I'll do some searching on 3T.

Thanks again!!

Nice Sea Viper and you have to love the Orsa blue. Like Tony I'm a bracelet guy and quite happy with the oyster on the Sea Viper but I would imaging a maratec style strap might look good though I think you will have some difficulty matching any stitching to the unique dial color.

That was no help whatsoever...crap.gif

I have to say, I have been a bracelet guy since I started to really get into watches but with certain watches I like to try straps.  With my 7.25" wrist, however, I usually get a better fit from a bracelet.  The oyster on the Orsa is very comfortable.   Zulu's usually provide a comfy fit for me too.

Thanks for the input, guys!

Congratulations on your Sea Viper. ThumbsUp02.gif

I tried my black dial on a few heavy rubber straps; but went back to the bracelet in the end

Congrats on a sweet trade Paulie!....imo it would be a sin to wear the Sea Viper on anything but the bracelet since all of us Orsa fanatics have been waiting many years for Berg to release a watch with one and the Viper is the 1st!ThumbsUp02.gif

Thanks, Oscar!!  Thanks, Guys!!

I have to say, the more I wear the SS, the more I like it.  I like that it does not taper in width towards the clasp.  And it doesn't pinch the hair on my wrist.

Cheers,
