I've always loved the 1Km, and due to poor timing, family issues, etc., I missed out on getting one. and after seeing Brice's new pickup, and Steve's mod work on his, and Oscar posting pics up of his, it kindled the desire to start the "Quest of the Grail".... Well, last night, after getting in late from work, and unable to sleep i was perusing the sales forums on some the other watch forums, and lo and behold, the gods answered me... There in all it's glory was a 1Km, in pristine condition up for sale. I contacted the seller and was able to close a deal with him last night, and today I got a shipping notice. Looks like all will go smooth, and I will have the 1Km,soon. Only problem, I'm going away starting Saturday for a week, and will have to wait until the following Monday to get to my PO box for it..  |

Let me guess, you got it from Joe on WUS? He contacted me Thursday to give me aheads up on his sales, his was mint and he always had cool leather straps on it!! :) If I hadn't bought Steve's modded one, I'd have definitely jumped on it! He takes care of his watches and they don't come up often FS. That's a great catch Joe!! I love mine, quality is top notch, size is the sweet spot and Benarus watches rock!! :) Wear it in good health!! Brice |

Brice, yep, it was Joe, he is a great guy to deal with, and from the pics he posted, it looked to be very well taken care of.. I probably would have grabbed his other watch he was selling, but that went while I was reading his post, and right after that the 1Km popped up...talk about timing.. |
