A quick review with some quick I-Phone photos from inside my truck today of my new One Hander! I Have wanted to try this style of watch for a long time and when I saw Roland Kemmner had produced this one with a swiss 6498 modified movement at a nice price I jumped on it. It is really well made with a neat 42mm two tone case with 22mm lugs, sapphire glass front and back, and a nice smooth winding movement, I am really liking it. When my wife saw it she asked if it was a tire gauge (jokingly) but after explaining the dial and how it worked she thought it was really cool and unique! A quick summery on how it works, the hand travels around the dial twice a day so one full revolution every 12 hours, the markers are spaced every 5 minuets apart with larger markers at 15,30, and 45. In the first photo the time is 2:45 (I hope I am not talking down to anyone here, do not mean to)
Sorry for the quick photos and review this is a busy time of the year for me.
Thanks for checking it out!

Cool new arrival Trent! cool.gif

I like the execution on this single hander being that it gives you 5 minute resolution via the dial marker design (many of these - although not all - seem to provide dial markers on 15 minute increments...a bit too corse for this type of timing instrument IMO).

I like it buddy!!!...including the movement finish and blued screws...Congrats and Enjoy! thumbsup.gif

Thanks Chris! I need to get better photos these just do not do it justice, the case is much better looking with the DLC middle section and polished bezel. Hope to have some sun tomorrow and find the time to get some shots.

Remarkable watch, Trent and a good price to pay for a new format. Some say that with practice, telling time can just be as fast as the traditional dials. Enjoy it in good health for a long time, amigo!
