Accutron automatic, Orient Diver, and Rado Diastar Ladies

A little bit for everyone.

A true gentleman I know got me the Accutron with the ETA 2824-2 movement and the Ladies Rado Diastar with the older rolled links and quartz movement.  Glen said I would like the Accutron and I do, got to stick to the no SLOPPY SECONDS rule and stayed away from SLOP TV.  Got tired of sending watches back.  Marc at Long Island Watch had the Orient at a great price and it came in the mail today also.  I thank both men for a job well done.  It follows the golden rule buy the seller not the watch, or it is all about the people stupid.:D:D:D

This Rado is so small that it is cute, easy to read with the hour indicators can not tell because my pic sucks.

Very nice on all three! I've looked at that accutron a couple of times but I can't quite get the nerve to buy a square watch!

I did not think that I would like the Accutron esp. being a purist that hates to see them become just a brand name and sell autos.  It is a cool watch that wears well even though it has a flat case back and is really big, normally that would knock it out of the running, but I really like it.  I may even get it out and wear it often only time will tell.

Great stuff, Eric. The Orient is a great value. Your lady will love the Rado, and I  dig that Accutron. What are the cases dimensions? I really think that's a sharp looker.

Thanks Pax!  The Accutron case is 35mm across and 43mm lug to lug.  It plays a lot larger due to the rectangular shape.  It has 24mm bracelet.  I know you like big watches and this would quality for a nice casual dress for you.  I have a 7 3/4 in wrist for some comparison in the wrist shot.:D

Me? Big watches??

Thanks for the info and you're reading my mind as I have been considering moving to some dressier pieces.

If you just have to get it from Slop use the fabsav29 to get $29 off

I have the same watch in silvertone with black leather that I added a deployment clasp to and like it a lot.  One of the more affordable accutrons but it still is a solid piece.  The bracelet on yours is definitely a nice addition.
