1. The all time favorite Invicta 8926RI from Glen (NRG). I am not a fan of a watch with manifying glass on the crystal so I removed it mysef using a razor blade and alcohol. It looks better now IMO

2 & 3. The two brother Russian Poljot Aviators. The one on the left is from Tom of Pacifichrono and the other one is from Glen.

4.  Another one from Glen is a very sporty looking TISSOT PRS 516 automatic. I am attaching Glen's photo as this one of my favorite photos that he has taken.

5.  And finally, TAG Heuer Carrera Automatic. I sold my TAG Heuer Link and bought this one from a local AD. I like the classic look and the overall finished of this piece.

Thanks to Tom and Glen for the wonderful timepieces...

That Invicta looks mighty close to my 9937, but my second hand is different. Love that Tissot. I also like the seastar 1000. But right now have to save up funds for that Orsa. Congrads. on all your new watches.

Does the alcohol dissolve the glue? How much force is necessary? I'd love to get rid of the magnifier on one of my Invictas.

Yes, the alcohol will dissolve the glue holding between the crystal and magnifying glass.

I used a cotton bud to apply the alcohol on the side of the magnifying glass and pushed it hard side ways away from the crystal using a razor blade. Be careful when you are doing it co'z you might scratch the crystal or bezel. So, I suggest to mask the cystal and bezel to avoid scratching/damaging them.

Goodluck...
