Hay it showed up a day earlier than expected. Kewlness! :dude:

This pic is from a previous owner. ;)

A Valjoux 7750-powered chronograph. Unique case and a very limited edition collectible.

* 40mm Swiss made Fancy Square all steel NOS 70's case, 13mm thick, 22mm lugs
* Screw on back, custom engraving with a unique design indicating this is watch 7 of 10
* Custom key ring and "number plate", again marked 7 of 10

I think I am now the 3ed person to own this watch.

This was my last one in the wind for now. :D

A little about this watch.

RLT38:  A limited edition of only ten pieces featuring a racing car motif (designed by Born) applied to the screw-on back of the 1970's NOS (New Old Stock) 40mm, steel case.  The number depicted on the racing car denotes the limited edition number of the watch.  The dial is also New Old Stock and the heavy crystal is mineral glass.  RLT38 utilises the Swiss made, Valjoux 7750, 25 jewel automatic chronograph movement and features an "R. L. Taylor" signed rotor and day/date function.    The watch is supplied with either a black or brown, 22mm, oiled leather strap with signed buckle.  A numbered metal "number plate" hang-tag and key-ring are also included in the package.  Note that RLT38 No.1 has been stolen.  This was replaced by RLT38 No.0, so there are actually eleven watches in existence.

Nice pick up. I have #10. Love the 70's retro look. What's great is that though it's a big watch, at 40mm X 40mm (no lugs) it fits my small wrist size.

Ok I have to ask...  if you have 7 of 10, how are there 11 in existence?  or is the 11th one the prototype?  :?
