Well, we made it home from or Serro Scotty campout.  Due to the rain some cancelled.  Three of us stuck it out. One good thing is we always have great food.  I deep fried a turkey for our "potluck" dinner sat eve.   The Scouts had it rough, thier one tent blew down and their firewood got wet.  I gave them some of mine.  Here are some pics.

Here is our rig, a 68 scotty hilander.  Its all original except for being painted.  Its in really good shape for being 40 years old.

A really nice all original 66 front kitchen.

I always try do cook something different.  That piella in the test kitchen may be a new one for me to try while camping.   If I could get fresh crawfish in Pa I would like to to a crawfish boil.:)

Even with the rain it sounds like a fun outting. Good for you. We had good weather here the past 3 days now so managed to spend some time out side enjoying it. I love to be out side. ;)

Looks like it was a good time Scott. Camping of any sort (except the Army and that doesn't count) is something I haven't done in a long time. I went camping in Boy Scouts and really enjoyed it. Maybe when Hayden is old enough I can do something like that with him.

Murph, when the time comes I hope you get to take your son camping and make some great memories.  All you fellows with children are so blessed.  I would give up everything to have one.  For now my dogs are my kids.
