The Andromeda Strain has been on A&E a few times over the last week. Anyone else here catch it?

This is the 2008 version of the movie. As a child I watched the 1971 version with my folks and siblings. And in the mid 80's while in the US Navy read the book too.

Enjoy the story and the concept of what it is all about. They are putting out a DVD of this latest of with 3 hours of extras. I just may have to get it. 3 different endings were made for the movie too. Wild.

Some links for you all if not familiar with it.

I saw it Skip. I thought it was pretty good.  I think I like the original just a bit more though.

So far I missed it, though I read the book and remember the original movie.  I gotta see it!

Cheers,

I may have to go to the library and check out the book. I read in back in 1986 while we were on a WestPack. Down times I was doing allot of reading back then. :)

I have not just sat down and read a book in awhile. About 4 or 5 years. Read so much online. LOL
