First off I would like to thank the following
people who have responded to my Aug.14
post with heartfelt sincerity and concern.

A special thank you to:

Jeff
Norm
Tony Duronio (Sorry for spelling the last name wrong)
Mark          (Paxman)
Jon or John (Skipdawg)
Greg
Omegaman

My mom's condition has improved dramatically
over the past 3 weeks,in case anyone is wondering.

I've moved back home in mid-July to
help out financially. I have to say it's
not been easy on me since I'm the only
income that my parents got.

My dad's retired and my mom's
on sick leave. We've managed as
a family and that what matters.

It's not about how much I make that's important;
but how much I am able to contribute,
for my share.

Out of this, one thing is certain and that
is the mortgage was paid off, years ago.

An Important Point:  (For Newbies)

Again,as I've mentioned earlier at another post.
This forum is not about the type of watch
or the name on your dial that matters,
but rather it is from the enjoyment from ownership.
Which makes watch collecting a fascinating hobby.

Being part of this forum is caring for one another.
If a member is ill we all share in his/her pain and
when one of us scores a grail watch, all of us share in a
moment of joy and excitement.

Even if we don't agree with a particular watch
purchase we still have fun by looking at the images
and putting our differences aside on the comments.

When a member is waiting for a delivery,
we help ease their mind with a funny comment
or an funny image.

We seldom criticize, which make 3-T very
unique amongst all other watch forums.

This is what being a member is all about.

Cheers,
Simon

Simon,
My mom had a massive cerebral hemmorage a year ago January and I spent the better part of a year taking care of her and managing her finances and health care.

After spending nearly 6 months in the hospital, she moved in with my family.   Having my mom in the house with my wife and 18 month old was trying as hell... but worth every second.    4 months later she was able to return to her own life.

I can only impart a small piece of wisdom -  Life is fragile.  You're doing the best you can for your family and that's the most important thing.  Its ain't easy, it ain't fun, and a lot of times it just plain tears you apart, but you're taking the hard road.  I applaud your effort and wish the best for your mom and family.

Seth

Good to know, Simon. You're a good man. I'm glad to know you and your parents are lucky to have such a son.
