question?

If I delete the image in Photobucket, will it disappear from the post at once, later, or never?

TIA

It will be gone forever unless you upload it again with the SAME NAME! The pic in the forum that you posted will have an icon/image instead of a "X" pic.:)

Photobucket offers 1GB of space now to members of free account. As you know 1GB of space is ALOT!

On the average watch pics of this forum, the size per pic is less than 200kb. Even taking as 200kb per pic, one can store up close to 5000 pics.

Every pic in one's PB account is linked directly from one's PB account. So if any pic that is still showing from one's PB account in this forum, that means the pic is still "ACTIVE", meaning it can STILL BE FOUND in one's account. Vice versa.

Oscar, your daily wrist check pics are uploaded to 3T's data bank. If you click its properties you will see what I mean. As for those pics in 3T POW, they are not deleted as yet in your PB's account. Do check them again.

Cos if you are right, then PB is an unlimited sotrage account which is not.

Jacky....Some of the Pics entered in the Pic of the Week exceed 512kb...I resize all pics to fit the format and Every Week I Delete All The Entries From My Photobucket Account Weekly or Otherwise It Would Have Been Full Long Ago(mine filled once with less than 500 pics)....Yesterday I Showed TNY by Deleting Glens Winning Pic From My PB Account and it is Still Showing on the Forum  Photobucket offers 1GB of space now to members of free account. Oscar here is the URL link of Glen's winning pic, the is the "congratulations post":

http://www.timetechtalk.com/attachment.php?id=1002

If you noticed it is downloaded in 3T's storage data and not your PB.

If you go to the post "Time to vote for POW", Glen's pic is GONE.

Think again, PB is a free account with LIMITED download storage up to 1GB of storage space. If what you said is true, doesn't that mean they are providing UNLIMITED storage space????

I see it's gone in the Time to Vote Jacky...but All the Pics in that thread were deleted from My PB Account...Why do some remain? The Pics that are gone all happened to be greater than 512kb could this be why? Oscar here is the URL link of Glen's winning pic, the is the "congratulations post":

Oscar I do not think that is the reason as PB will resize if the pic is more than 512kb. So it will still exist IF IT IS STILL INSIDE your PB account.

What you could do is to look carefully in your PB account, for last weeks entries of POW, try deleting them and I am VERY Sure they will show the "blank" icon/image of PB if they are deleted SUCCESSFULLY.

Btw, I have readjusted my PB account preference setting. So I can actually load a pic of size up to 1MB! The storage is 1GB. So in other words, I can load 1000 pics of 1MB in size.

LOL!!!! Oscar, I think PB free account has quite a reasonable storage space. I look at it and it says up to 1GB=1000MB=1,000,000kb. and say the average size of a pic here is about 200kbs, it means you can storage up to FIVE THOUSANDS PICs of such size in your FREE PB account!!!!

If you finished your free storage space, sign up another one!!! heheheh.... I have 3 already!!!:P:P:P
