Remember when The Police were a damn great band? This is a portion of their performance in Urgh! a Music War. Remember a film called Urgh! A Music War? This movie gave me a strange new perspective on music and performance when I first saw it during my teenage years. If by chance there are any fans of Urgh, drop me a PM as I have come across a pretty damn good copy and it is very hard to come by. More info on the film here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urgh!_A_Music_War The Police performing Roxanne from the film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGQYI_TL8VQ For any one interested here's the list of performers and the song they performed. Some very strange stuff in here along with some classics in the punk/new wave vein. If you wanna see more I can rip any of these to YouTube...

I think I remember seeing that on USA Network's "Night Flight" show back in the early 80's. Great stuff! That show had some wild stuff, Einsturzende Neubaten, The Residents, and some of my favorite movies like "The Fabulous Stains" and Buckeroo Banzai! Those were the days... Cheers, Griff

I remember Urgh! from the '80s. I found it because I was a huge XTC fan and tried to find everything to do with them. Lots of great performances on that video! Jim
