Thank God Xavier missed the second free throw at the end of regulation or OSU would have been toast.............................great comeback on the 3-pointer for the tie!

Not a good start for the #1 team to be so "manhandled" by a "wannabe"...

The Buckeyes Won Ken!!!!...didn't really matter who won as both schools are in Ohio....Xavier has the second win/loss record in  tournament play history and in No way was a slouch team...and as Tony mentioned the #8 and #9 are always a PIA....It was a great edge of your seat game especially in the last minutes...seconds!! and one of the best comebacks in NCAA tourney play...

Yes they did...and it was a very exciting game.  Xavier may be "all that", but, bottom line is that they were a lower half seed.  OSU should make it at least to the Final Four, but they will have to step it up from today's performance to do so.

Granted when a lower half seed wins a game, they become spoilers, but who else is eligible for the moniker?  If the #3 seed beats the # 1 seed, they are never referred to as spoilers....just winners!

I agree Oscar....MSU hung with North Carolina for 3.5 quarters but the superior team pulled away at the end.

The great teams always find a way to winhand6.gif What was nice to see was the 2 stars of each team carried the respective teams..both scoring 1/2 the game pointshand6.gif

Dont know if you can win championships like that though:)

No.............they beat Xavier in OT!  I believe Xavier was seeded 9..............OH!  Now I know, you are talking about their Women's Team getting upset by Marist!

And right now............I'm having a scare as the Gators struggle against Purdue!

Well, the Gators finally decided to play....but did they HAVE to wait until the last 2 minutes of the game......15 turnovers is unbelievable.
And now.........Wisconsin is on the ropes with UNLV.....I simply have to stop watching these games!!!:D:D:D:D
