A while back I saw a documentary about a guy who boated, swam, biked, hiked, ext... across the world. He went to the north pole, almost died when he caught his gear on fire, had to learn how to sail by training with a guy who has the speed record for sail, bought a wooden canoe in the jungle somewhere, was bit by a deadlty snake, had to have his fingertips removed, had to take his ski boot off at the north pole, almost lost his foot, and on and on..... Anyone remeber this?? I saw part's of it while out of town, in a hotel room. I'd love to see the whole thing!!

He just happened to have a camera crew handy while enduring all these things? :? Maybe check out the name of the sailing champ--Brian McKeon, I think. Recall the channel? How long ago did you see it? Was he an American or Englishman or what?

From what I remember, he filmed most of it himself, once he arrived at certain locations, after month's of travel, he would meet with his camera crew, or see his wife, and kid's. At certain mile marker's in his journey. I attempted to research that name with no success. I know that he was picked for the crew because of his stamina. They commented that they usually hire, or train athletes, ext.. But, this guy, although not very big, could go for day's..relentless. I don't recall the channel. It was about two week's ago. I don't think he was American. Most of the filmed part's were his training. The sailing, survival, ext.. He filmed the actual "Jungle" footage. Another clue perhaps... I remember when he caught his gear on fire, the only thing he saved was his GPS and Satt. He couldn't survive in such extreme conditions, so he called his wife. He had taken pictures of all his essential gear before he left.. She was able to re-supply him. Most of the time he was alone until he reached certain point's... If anyone can help me put this rest.... They shall receive a cigar prize:D

Man, without at least one solid fact, the whole thing's up for grabs. Any name; any timeframe; something specific and you'd be in like Flynn. Otherwise, pretty much a lost cause, imho.

Don't even ask about the JS bit. It is such an inside joke, you'd have had to be around a couple of watch forums dating back to 2005 to get it. Bottom line: ignore them and if you can give me one solid fact, perhaps I can help. Otherwise . . .
