Hope that got your attention!

Looking for a white (yes - white!) rubber Ploprof style rubber strap for the Panerai homage I gave her as a present. It will have to have a brushed pre-v style buckle. You know how fickle some girls are... mistake.gif

Can you guys point me in the right direction (if there IS one!) for a supplier?

Not interested in leather, or rally-style - just the ploprof style with the rectangular cut-outs please. Or is there simply nothing out there? Out of interest, if Ocean7 made a white diver strap, that would be ideal. But to the best of my knowledge, they don't. A 125/75 would be her ideal size, but these days, girls wear them way too big as well, so the final size lengths they might be available in would not really matter.

Any suggestions? :?

Many thanks all.

Hi, and thanks Ken. I tried to tell her that purple was the new white (cos I got one of those from O7 as part of a promotion). She corrected me! She is such a nice lady though, and I am doing my best to get her what she wants. The watch in Q is a Marine Diver GMT with brushed bezel and case - it is a pretty watch and it looks great on her. But the black strap I provided is apparently too "masculine". Gees - 44mm watches were too masculine for girls a few years back...

Still looking...  :D

Then...I would suggest that you email some of the "Friends of 3T" like watchprince.com and see if they have run across what you are looking for!

Your friend's wife has 24mm lugs! Probably fake...I mean the strap... for the watch. Oh forget it.

http://www.ioffer.com/i/24mm-BREITLING-WHITE-RUBBER-STRAP-BAND-BRAND-NEW--57940861

another; kinda like the ocean 7 but not ploprof.

Or maybe she would settle for 18kt white gold instead of 24mm white rubber?

Hi Ablejack!  hehehe. They're not fake... ;)

You nailed it in one, I think. Sent the link to her husband and he agrees that the pstraps white 24 deployment is the way to go. No big buckle or cutouts - but hey - ya take what ya can get. Maybe Ocean7 will make one one day - they certainly do everything else...

Oh - the Cartier is pretty - but the lady in question is not MY wife!!

The Breitling was pretty good - but the prominent brand would make it a bit like wearing a Ducati helmet when you are riding a Vespa:D.

As you can understand - white is not a popular color for us - but I reckon it will look great on her. I must admit that I had given up a while ago. Your post reminded me and kicked my a** into gear. Well done - and many thanks for your help! Very much appreciated!

Friend's wife's 24mm lug issue solved!

Cheers! IanM hand6.gif

I read your specifications and you and/or she may have to compromise on the type of strap, but not the color, size or material. Here are just of few of the vendors of 24mm, white, rubber bands. Search under bands and not straps to get more hits. The first vendor has a number of white rubber bands. None are an exact match though. Good luck finding what you want.

Hi mcwright

You guys are brilliant - thanks for your help. You are right - a compromise is needed to make sure that a white strap is what she ends up with.

Thanks men! IanM

Thanks! Ya know I was quite surprised at how many 24mm lug, white rubber straps there are available. I would have thought maybe I could find one. Heck, the first site listed above has these four available. Who'd a thunk it?:shock: The best match for what she wants might be the one on the far right. I have had that strap in blue and it is nicely made.

hi mcwright - that is great, mate - thanks!

Either of the two on the right might do the job. Looks like she can have a smorgasbord of choice!

Well done and thanks for the additional research!
