First, let me know if you have a specific procedure for getting a leather strap like this to 'break in' and form to your wrist... So, after scouring forums, and looking for this, I just couldn't find any examples. I wanted to see a 300m MarineMaster on a Chronissimo strap. I was hoping to find someone that had already tried it...no luck. So, I picked up a barely used 22mm Chronissimo, and fit it on my MarineMaster. It's not as 'squished' as I thought it would be (this Seiko has 20mm lugs). Let me know your thoughts: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Looks goodhand6.gif If your bothered by it at all, the way tha strap is made, with a sharp razor blade you could cut i smidge of the leather on each side and then hit it with a sharpy marker.

I wondered if I should do that. I figured if it doesn't look too bad, I'll leave it in case I want to use it on a 22mm watch later. Would leaving it like this damage it in any way?

That's a great strap...I got my 1st one several weeks ago when it came on a VIXA Type 20 I bought. I got a Watchadoo for the VIXA and put the Di-Model on my Graf-Zeppelin...it is a 24mm mounted in 22mm lugs and it looks and fits great! woohoo.gif![]()

I think it looks just fine like that, its really hard to tell its squished. Keep it, If not, do what tony said, but use a really sharp Xacto small blade. Great Photos too

Hate to be a naysayer, but I'm not feeling it. No offense intended and JMHO. :P Looks a bit squished to me, and I expect the MM to be on something with more of a diver vibe.;)

Thanks for the input everyone. Paxman wrote: Hate to be a naysayer, but I'm not feeling it. I know...I know...it's more of an aviator style strap. But it's one of the few I know of that is wider after the lugs. The MM really would benefit from a 22mm lug width, so I was hoping to make a wider strap look good. And it is just a bit squished. I wonder if blacking out the stitching would help.

That would be a pretty neat experiment. I don't know why I didn't think of that too. Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe a little photoshop is in order to test it out.:D
