I'm super happy to have picked up a survival strap from Kurt at http://www.survivalstraps.com/ ...it is super comfortable, looks awesome and is a true survival tool as it has over 16 ft. of paracord that can hold up to 550 lbs in a pinch...and since I bought the Kobold for outdoor activities it made a perfect match imo!....this one is the ACU camo and black version...which Kurt custom makes to your orderyahoo.gif

Oscar, I just knew you'd do something like this as soon as you got your Kobold. I like the strap a lot and the unique touch of the d-ring and skulls. (Spent about a minute admiring it) They combine to give the watch a very hip and up-to-the-minute look. Have you tried to combine a nice blue and gray combo? Then, you could opt for a PCD d-ring. Those elements will pick up the colors of your Kobold AS.hand6.gif

Wow that's one tough strap!

My main concern, however is to do
with the lock. Just how secure is it?

Suits the watch,I'm sure Sir Ranulph Fiennes
who always owns a Kolbold would approve.:)

Cheers,
Simon

this strap is extremely comfortable and once I soaked it in hot water and let it form/shrink to my wrist it got even softer!...and Simon this buckle is the same used by climbers and parachutists and can withold 500lbs as well...so I would say it is very secure! :D

....I modified mine so I don't have to unscrew the buckle everytime and just loosen the chord at the skulls and slip it over my hand and then just pull it tight....very cool imho and I plan on getting a couple more hand6.gif
