After checking out Steve-O-straps website from all of the high recommendations around here, I ordered a "crossbow" with red stitchings.  I guess Steve is still making straps at a torrid pace because it took  him about 2 days to send me a picture for approval.  I think it looks pretty good and should go well with my Hamilton Sunset.  Here's Steve's pic:

I like the look of the strap... semi-stitch-less. Should look great on the Sunset!:dude: Looking forward to seeing it.

Yeah, the price is certainly right.  Once I receive it I'll report back on the quality.

This is kind of an oddball design, which I thought would fit in with the oddball design of the Hamilton Sunset.  The red stitching should go with the red second hand.  I'll post pics when it arrives.

Looks like a great strap! I've got a simple 'ruff rider' on the way to try out on a couple of my 22mm lug watches.  I really love the texture on it,  wanted to attach Steve's pic but flickr's being a POS right now.  Nice choice there, enjoy it.

Just ordered a "military" bund type strap from him for my vintage Glycine Airman.

Very similar...the one below.  Hell, I ordered it 10 minutes ago and paypaled 7 minutes ago and I'm standing at the door waitng for the mailman..............Patience is a bullS**t virtue!!!subtlelaugh.gif  I figure it will give the old 36mm that was kinda standard back in the 1960s a little more visual size.

It took about 2 weeks for my Crossbow to arrive from England.  When it arrived, the watch it was intended for, my Hamilton Sunset, was shipped out to be evaluated for a stripped crown, so it took a while to get the strap on the watch.  The Hamilton came back today (didn't fix it because it was way too expensive) and I mounted the Crossbow.  To be honest I wasn't all that impressed with it when I received it.  The leather is the same thickness as the Hirsch Liberty I had on the Sunset (I thought it'd be a little bit thicker), and the stitching looked like it may not last.  Now that I have it mounted, I do like the way it looks and it feels really nice on the wrist.  Still not sure about the longevity of the stitching but hopefully it will last for a while since I do rotate many watches.  Overall I'm pleased with the strap for the money.

A little strange for me..................but interesting for sure.

I think the stitches will last because they aren't on any stress points of the strap at all.
