The blue montrum really needs some attention, its kinda flat to me, that orange hand looks good there! Has anybody other than JHM or myself ever had a Monstrum Modded? Cheers |

id like to see your mod if you can post a picture here thanks..i showed this to Berg he said hi art yeah , that look good , this minute hand is similar to the vintage certina ds. martin i like the contrast plus it reminds me of my first dive watch a Zodiac Sea Wolf which i had back in 1972  which prompted me to fool around with Bergs latests lithium Sea Anglers  which i showed Berg and he said this about it: art i like the mods , i am curious to see what wis think. thanks martin so..what does everyone think?? |

To me changing the Sea Angler (in the last pic) looks really good but it kinda changes the watch almost too much. Makes it look more like a Monstrum. But the orange minute hand on the Monstrum looks great. Go for it! hand6.gif |

Hi fellas That orange minute hand lifts the dial to "way beyond" cool. It is LIKE a Certina DS, but not identical, so the watch retains enough of its original personality to be discernably different. Yes, it's photoshopped, but Berg should have a close look at this one IMHO. I didn't buy an orange quartzie - I am going to wait for a colorway different to the non-SA orange dialed watches I already have. I am hoping for a black/grey variant, and I know I have to be patient. REAL patient (cos it is likely that a yellow version and a green version are gonna be built AFAIK, and there has been no discussion of one like the one I want). But can you imagine what this nice orange minute hand would look like on the Orsa 3T style of SA?? cool10.gif. Nice idea 2ster! My hand is up for a quartzie like that please Berg.
