Ok, here is my stab at trying to pin down the different Sea Angler models.  Any and all help would be appreciated and I'm sure I've made some mistakes. I'll go back and edit the OP with any corrections.

What automatic movement was used before the ETA 2824-2?  Should I post pictures of each model? (none are mine)

Also, is something wrong with the search function?  When I try to go back and look at some older posts, I click on the link and it says that it is not there anymore.  Weird?

I just read a post from 2007 that the "original" Sea Anglers all had ETA 2824-2 movements.  (Orangina and 2nd series)

I know I've read somewhere that there might be a difference in the ETA movements used from one model to another.  Some people have advertised their SA as having a true SWISS ETA 2824 and not an Asian 2824.  What does that mean?

OK, just learned that you can't edit a post older than 2 hours.  This might throw a monkey wrench in my plans to update the list.

I guess I could help out there. PM me what needs to be changed and updated later and as time allows I'll edit the post for ya. ;)

Being a former Bama boy and a Roll Tide fan I can do that. LOL  :D

Oscar,

Would you mind looking through the original post and seeing if you can answer any of the bold blue questions.

Thanks,

Thanks Gigfy for putting this list together.  It is very helpful to those of us that are new to this hobby.  I just bought a lume dial today, my first Sea Angler, and can't wait to add some of the other variants to my growing watch collection.

PS I would be very cool if you could add a photo of each of the different models, especially the ultra rare one of a kind models.
