TY Keith for giving me the opporutunity to check out the prototype of your Boschett "Reef Ranger" thankyou.gif

I tried to get as many wrist shots in as possible before the sun went down here    My 1st impression upon opening the Awesome Boschett carriage...a 2 slot signed travel case was "very impressive "and I promise to get some pics of this case asap as it really is Awesome imo....inside was not 1 encased screwdriver but 2...a clear slot with the plastic ownership/warranty card,...and then the gorgeous Reef Ranger!

I am a sucker for black dials and red tipped second hands as you all know and this watch is no exception...put me on the list immediately Keith...along with a couple other colors!  The sub style case is beautiful in it's satin finish with high polished case sides as is the satin finished bracelet that fits like a glove...the bezel very unique to this watch is smooth yet firm with no play, and winding is smooth as silk....the second hand glides around the dialwatch2.gifThe screw down crown is equally as smooth in operation and in more detailed pics to come you will see the use of the o-ring crown tube assembly not usually seen at this price range...the sapphire crystal is top grade and the use of the 2-1/2 times cyclops over the date window is a pleasure for someone like me that requires reading glasses.....a more detailed review and pics will follow in a couple days as I enjoy wearing the Reef Ranger this week and putting it through the motions before returning  .....you will see what I'm seeing in that Keith/Boschett Timepieces has put some time, effort  and thought into bringing WIS an affordable "Swiss Made" watch.....TY Keith!

Hey Oscar, nice pics.  Glad you got the watch so fast and I'm please that your first impression is positive.  Looking forward to reading your full review when you get the time.  FWIW, I forgot to put the hang tag on, but no, biggie.

I'm glad you mentioned the smooth winding, because that's something I'm really proud of.  I have a few affordables and the winding isn't nearly as smooth on them.

For anyone who wants more information check out the post in the General forum or go right to my webite by clicking the link on the left of this page.

Nice "pre-view" Mr O.

2.5 times date magni, red tipped second hand, 4 face colours, nice 2824-2, a watch face built into the bottom of the "B" logo (but why is it at 5 past 4, when 5 past 10 would look more like a "tick"?), a diver's extension on the 22mm SS bracelet - - you've got me interested! It reminds me of a Seiko Monster on steroids, and I mean only good things by saying that, cos I absolutely love my Monsters. And if a 44mm version is in the wings, I look forward to finding out about that, too.

If the lume on the 42mm Reef Ranger is as pumped as the rest of the watch - this one will be a winner.

Please let us know the introductory pricing when it is available, Keith! Cheers and good luck with the venture.

Thanks everyone.

Nando,  All the watches will have a cyclops, but I'll keep your suggestion in mind.

Ian,  See here for a bit more info on the pricing.  http://www.timetechtalk.com/view_topic.php?id=10142&forum_id=1

I really like that.  Kind of has a Black Monster feel to it but at the same time has its own distinct look.  The cyclops is not a bad idea and the watch really looks good with it IMO.  I would've gone a different route and chose a more circular shape to the cyclops rather than the same one everyone else uses.  Just my $0.02.  Nice watch though.

I'm having the dials re-worked at this moment because the application of the SL did not meet my expectations.  The wrong  type of SL was used.  As soon as I receive one with the correct lume I will post a picture.

I am liking this more each time I see it. Keith what kind of production on these are you going to do? Standard non-limited, limited production or limited edition?

Standard non-limited, but since I'm a small player, the quanities will be less compared to others.  First production run is 100 (mixed colors) then with 200 more to follow shortly thereafter.

Heads! Yes YELLOW for me. Actually I'm thinking of this for my brother. He's considering a diver in this price range now to get ready for the 08 Great Lakes sailing season.
