hi steve,

well, i have to say that: i simply love the version with the 24hr/diver bezel, since i had some small portion/contribution to the design process. the bezel looks exactly like i had it in mind, cool!
i am very curious about the progression here.
especially when the dials are finished and we have a complete impression of the final watch/es.

Cool looking cases/bezels on the Worldiver Steve!!ThumbsUp02.gif

Thanks for the update!

Seeing them as actual samples really highlights how different the case shapes are between the two choices.  I had not appreciated this when just looking at the previous drawings.

Looks great!!

Hi Steve,

Greetings from wet, wet S'pore smile8.gif

I just replied via email my options for the quartz GMT, and can't wait for more details on the completion dates, and more pics of course!

Any possibility of having the GMT hand luminous as well?

Cheers,

Stuart

Hey Steve, what do you think on publishing list with :

Cheers

sure, angular case, vertical bezel side calls for a flat crystal.

Worldiver Update: 11.18.09
At this point I am still waiting for the notification that the watches have been shipped to me. We were waiting on one of the accessories to finish up before they ship. There are always small delays that are unpredictable. I will post as soon as I have news.

There is always last minute delays in shipping, but we separated the EU watches from the US, and also 1 going to Australia and the shipments should arrive soon. I have not posted any photos of the Worldiver because I am also waiting for mine. I am excited to get this watch and will photograph it on the mesh as soon as I get them and I will post them here on 3T and on the Benarus Blog.

Also, as I did with the Moray, the turnaround time from me to getting them in the mail to the preorder customers will be less than 24 hours.

I will post any updates as soon as I have new information.

hi, dont get me wrong, i love benarus watches and have had 4 of them.
ralph and steve have kept us well up to date with the production and unforseen delays with the world diver.
but the guys in the USA have got theres yet again before us in the EU.

Jim, both shipments left at the factory at same time. Don't get me wrong, but I believe things move a little faster in the US. The US watches were not held in customs as long, and I can ship state to state in less than 2-3 days.

and also, with the Moray, it was the Canadians and International (non US or EU) customers that got the watches first because they had direct shipping from the factory.

Received my Benarus GMT Worldiver Quartz tonight.

Amazing!

No way any pictures can do this watch justice.

That said, if I can figure out how to do it, I'll take photos tomorrow and post them.

Fantastic watch!

I love mine so far as well!  Has anyone tried a Maratac Elite with blue stitching on this??  I am thinking about it...though I really like the rubber strap this watch came with :)
