My only gripe is the insufficient AR on the crystal. I have a local optical engineer that can apply really good AR, but I want to have a back-up crystal just in case. Does anyone know the dimensions for a replacement crystal? I'd rather order a replacement crystal and have it coated and installed, rather than risk my original crystal. I'm planning to apply AR on both sides, which I think will really make my Stealth...perfect.gif. Thanks in advance for your any input or response to this thread.

I just learned yesterday that the Moray has a double domed crystal that results in no distortion when viewing the dial at extremely low angles. Are you basing the insufficient AR on the fact that you don't see any blue tint on the crystal? On my domed crystal AR watches that has the low angle distortion, the blue effect is pretty obvious, but on flat crystals with AR, I see no sign of the blue tint. I'm thinking maybe the double dome makes the AR invisible similar to the flat crystals with AR. This is just a guess though. For the crystal information you are seeking, perhaps you should email Steve Laughlin at Benarus to see if he can help you.

I agree with GX9901 .... I would recommend that you first contact Steve at Benarus to see if he can source a replacement crystal for you. That would seem to be your best bet for getting a crystal with the right dimensions. Oh....and Congrats on the Moray!!! They are very sweet indeed!!! I'm not sure you wold even want to mess with it....part of the reason you may not be seeing it is based on how the stealth version shows up in the first place.....it is a very dark dial and dark presentation...not sure changing the AR would do anything for you.....just my opinion

Thanks for all the comments. I will contact Benarus for an "OE" replacement crystal. This project should yield some interesting results...
