I'm like a dog with a bone...I won't let go!:D

I did some hacking on a rubber strap to see how easy it would be to modify to fit the end links of the Megalodon...no problem!

Now I am on the hunt for a nice bulky rubber suitable for the watch...

Looks good, you're going to need something big and thick for it to really look right IMO

i saw the pics of the leather strap that comes with the watch and your rubber strap and i think your strap looks way better than the strap that it comes with.  i hope i can snag a meg so that i can do the same thing nice job.

Agreed!  I just picked up a thicker strap which will be better suited to the watch.  The buckle on the strap I just picked up has a polished buckle so I'll need to brush that...If there is any interest I'll post pics of the project.

It will take a very thick strap to keep the weight balanced. But it looks good!

Actually that's not true...even on this relatively thin strap the watch head sits very nicely, largely due to the composition of the rubber...

I would agree a heavy thick strap is not really needed for weight and balance, just think the heavier the strap the better it will look

Yep...I'm currently on the hunt for a suitable heavy strap.

Yep:  the Mega looks great on a rubber strap.  I think I pulled a boner ordering a PVD Mega, cause the polished or brushed Mega is a phenom!  I'll give the rubber mod a shot; if it looks halfway decent I'll post some pics.

But actually, you don't have to any hacking if you leave those inner lug 'adapters' OFF.  Just buy a 24MM rubber.

That would be ideal but the purpose of the mod is to avoid the "wide open spaces" between the case and the strap due to the extra curved lugs.
