Hello all, New here to this forum, have spent all my time at WUS and found 3t by mistake and am glad I did, I have been into watches for about 2 years now and have 56 in my collection. Nothing fancy or over 1,000 but I like them all. My best one is my new Marathon JSAR, this is one watch I will never part with. I live in Rochester NY and work as a Public Safety Officer at a local Hospital. Retired Law Enforcement Office from Tn. Moved here after my divorce to take care of my Mom and Dad who both have passed now. Have made a bunch of good friends over at WUS and hope to make some here to. This is one great hobby we have here. My GF dosent understand it at all. But she puts up with it. And helps pick out some of them. We plan to go to Basel World in 2009 to the watch fair and cant wait till then. Well thats it for now will be seeing you all around here. Mark

Welcome Sniper! I love this community, and learned so much about quality, affordable timepieces that I never knew existed. Hold on tight--as you dive into the world of 3T you're gonna procure two things--knowledge and temptation. As far as your GF goes... ask her how many pairs of shoes she has in her closet before answering her on why you need a collection of watches.
