Hello all,

I am Justin.  A student at Niagara University in Niagara Falls NY.  I am nearing graduation (Dec. '08) and will be receiving a watch from my parents as a gift.

I have always loved watches.  Since I was young my parents gave me a Robb Report in my stocking every year.  I always tore out the watches I like and had them covering my cork board in my room.  I started buying high-end knock offs in the 8th grade ($100-$200) mainly Omega and Breitling.  They have all broken since, and I have fallen victim to the cell phone generation and never need a watch.

I am working in an investment firm this summer (hopefully for a long time) and want a nice watch to wear ($200-$300).   I have been monitoring overstock.com for nice ones, and I think I have decided on Akribos.  I love rose gold, and skeleton style watches.

I look forward to learning more about watches, the industry, and talking with fellow enthusiats.  My other interests include sound quality car audio, home theatre, golf and fishing.

Hello Justin and welcome to 3T. Enjoy your last months of school. It's a great time of life. ;)

Akribos is a nice brand they do good work for that price point and have many that are homages to bigger more famous brands at very affordable prices.

Howdy Justin, congrats on  your upcoming graduation.  No question you're headed down the rabbit hole now but I'm sure you'll enjoy the journey.  You'll never forget your first watch.

ps. you may want to stock up on a few watch boxes now so you don't find yourself shortsubtlelaugh.gif
