Happy New Year to you, 3T.

It is about 2pm on New Year's Eve here in Western Australia. It has been 39 or 40 degrees C for the last week (crazy hot - and humid to boot) and we have a very different type of celebration here, compared to you guys suffering in the cold. Fireworks tonight in most major capital cities should be fun, though.

As the countdown approaches - be safe and happy, and may all your dreams come true in 2013!

Happy New Year, IanM and to 3T.

It's 9pm Manila time and it's almost like a war zone out there with all the fireworks. Celebrating with with a good bottle of Oban and Lagavaulin.

Happy New Year Ian and 3T!!!party.gif

May you all be extremely blessed in 2013!!!

Hey Jeff - You and I were on the same page regarding New Years libations and Single Malt Scotch this year...I was celebrating with a bottle of Lagavulin (16 year) and a bottle of The Balvenie (12 year DoubleWood)...with just a bit of Macallen 12 year thrown in for taste comparisons. (I haven't tried the Oban yet, but it is definitely on my list).thumbsup.gif

Thanks, Chris. The Oban is not to be missed and carries a very memorable taste. Also, the Japanese single malts are amazing, especially the ones from the Suntory distillery. Try the Japanese single malts on tulip-type whisky goblets........heaven...ThumbsUp02.gif
