Hi I am a New Member and just getting into Millitary Watch collecting(so I am new excuse me). I bough me a Traser P650 Type 6 Navigator  "sterile" dial and, was wanting to know is this the "REAL" Issue watch. I been doing my homework alittle bit and know Marathon gets there H3 Tritium from mb-microtec and that is Traser and made the first MIL-W-46374F series and also looks the same as the Luminox Navy Seal that also claims to be "ISSUED" so can anyone give me more info Thank you

Welcome aboard 3T cjh...  am sure someone here will be able to answer your question, I dont think the traser's were issue watches, but I could be mistaken.  However, I do like those trit tubes; I have 2 Ball watches with loads of tubes in them - you will like it for nite time illumination... post up some pics when you can...

Will do what do you have with "H3"(USA) or "3H"(German) ?Right now you can get them(Traser P650 Type 6) on LA Poilce Gear.com for 99.95. When you type in freeshipping with no space in the coupon code well you get free shipping. Comes with a NATO band and with the "sterile" dial just like?....is the Millitary Issue?

The term "Military Issue Watch" has always confused me...nobody ever offered me a watch in the Army nor did anybody ever disclose that one was available for issue.  Maybe, they simply didn't like me!mistake.gif

..............and welcome to 3T!

What was your MOS in the Army I am DEP 11B Ranger contract I know the wash-out rate is high I get to be a GRUNT and I don't mind at least I got the chance

I was an 03 with a primary MOS of 1204, which was, at the time, Armored Reconnaisance Commander.  In Cavalry Units we had primarily 11B, 11C and 11D.  I had the distinct honor of commanding an Infantry Company in Vietnam.  Was airborne, not Ranger as I was sent to Briticsh Commando and Jungle Warfare School instead of Ranger training...same old/same old...without the Tab!!!

The term 'Military Issue' just means that somewhere, at sometime, and possibly could still be, the item was availible through the supply system IF your supply sergeant knew or could find the correct National Stock Number(NSN). I know from some of my research that the luminox/traser style watches WERE availible for issue at one time. I believe they were the Sandy 650. I have seen a couple of examples, in pictures only, still with their boxes and everything appeared correct for a military issue item. I.E. the packaging and labeling. I don't believe they are still availible. I know all the Marathon series military watches are, and the Sunnto wrist watch/compass is. Before I forget, Welcome Aboard!
