Hey team

Just snagged an Omega Dynamic off the bay, but I need a new (ish) SS bracelet for it to replace the dud with which it will arrive. It is the flat 41mm oval case version, not the nice chrono I know some 3Ters have :X. The head is 95% and a ripper, but the bracelet isn't even an Omega mistake.gif

Sorry - but I wanted a flat watch - what can I say??

Any suggestions as to the bracelet, leads or items for sale or W.H.Y.?

Let's talk!

Cheers - IanM ThumbsUp02.gif

Thanks Ron Jr - those are some mighty fine Dynamics you have photographed there!

It is photos like that which make me want that darned bracelet. I don't know Ofrei, but I will look for a link and see what he has to offer.

Thank you very much for the lead! Absoultely invaluable help - cheers!

Hi again Ron Jr

I have found the ofrei site and now I know where to go. I have to wait until I receive the watch from Germany to decide how much of the old bracelet has to be scrapped. The adaptor ring (which I think is what you call the lugs?) seems fine in the photos of the watch I have bought - but I guess it is better to be safe than sorry. I want mine to look like yours!

Once again - thanks for the beautiful comparo shot above. You have helped me decide to go NOS and get what I actually wanted in the first place...

A thousand thanks! IanM ThumbsUp02.gif

No problem the 70's Dynamics are great watches. To take the adaptor ring off you can use a caseback tool but it would be best to have Omegas tool. I have it at home and will try to remember to post the number for you. An Omega AD may be able to order one but I bought mine off the bay as well as Tool 106.

Since you like them so much here are the rest of my 70's Dynamics.

BTW the one ion the right in the first picture was purchased NOS from my watchmaker. He forgot he had it.

WOW !!

That is a serious collection Ron!

And, as usual, each time that one of you kind gentlemen shows me a picture with a range of watches, I see models in there that I have never seen from Omega in Australia before. Green on green is very nice - and I like both of the blue faced Dynamics. Ah hell - I think they are all beautiful! I guess I should go to my AD and see if he has something lurking in the back office, too!

I will get the AD to do the changes to the bracelet and that way I will have someone to yell at if anything gets scratched...

The Dynamic on SS, IMHO, is an absolute classic. I appreciate the leather straps for their beauty and color co-ordination, but somehow, to my eye, the bracelet lifts the whole image and makes the Dynamic look more substantial. I have always had an interest in Dynamics but have never owned one. The interest recently turned to desire when I saw an NOS light blue/silver dial, polished case Dynamic on black leather on my accountants wrist (it is the SS blue version of your gold watch in the middle of the new photo). That polished case looks so classy - and yours have backed up my initial impressions - because they are absolutely spectacular. My incoming has the starburst brushed finish - and the new NOS bracelet will complement it perfectly - but I wouldn't have known that without your kind response and your great pictures.

Cheers! Thanks again! And my congratulations to you on a spectacular haul of Dynamics - it was wonderful to see them!
