The British Military is awesome.  Back in the mid 1960's, I had the opportunity (or misfortune) of getting orders to go thru a British Commando School in Northern Germany, in the dead of winter...damn near killed me trying to keep up!  Thumbsup3.gif

My heart felt gratitude to those that sacrificed all that I may live in freedom. God Bless the families that were left without a son/daughter mother/father may you find solice in the fact that people still care.

A small story to share. I became friends with a Gerry Ferguson about 2 years ago thru a mutual friend and love of motorcycling. I new Gerry had served in 'Nam but he never spoke much of it. I made the assumption that yeah he was in, but like many never made it to the front lines.

Well by accident and a facebook post I find out that Gerry not only saw action, but is a Purple Heart recipient. Further Gerry Jr. his son is a 19 year veteran and also a Purple Heart recipient of the Iraq war.

My point is that like him, and the gang of guys I met with Ken when he was in town, are an incredible breed. Some by chance, some by choice. Quiet heros. Ones you wish your kids would immulate.

God Bless each any every member past and present of our mighty military.

Those that have gone....we have not forgotten.

Freedom isn't free, nor is it easy to come by.

To all that have served, THANK YOU!
