I know the post is old.... But are these watches readily available from
Home experts? I see some from a guy named Drudy. Just wonder how one can get a custom beauty made and be sure it has the eta parts. Not wanting a replica but some in this forum are just amazing to see. Hats off to the masters. Dang nice work.

Thanks Tomsimac! Yes, you find some of those ETA models on the Bay for reasonable price.
I had 3 movements 6497-1 so I did it myself.T
There´s always a personal relation with the watch when you mounted it yourself...
