I'm not sure what the protocol is here since I'm a brand new guy, but I'll start a thread and post some pics of my watches.  I'm a "low end" collector but try to find good value and am attempting to build a diverse collection.  Next on my list is a Halios Tropik B Green Dial if I can find one!

I got very interested in movements and wanted a display back, handwind so the rotor wasn't in the way.  A little research revealed that the Victorinox Airboss Mach IV is a lot of value for the money:

I lured a buddy of mine into the "watch sickness" and wanted to help him find the very best automatic for the money - and I found the Seiko Diver Series is a great value.  Of course then I had to buy one, and chose a Stargate PVD:

Prior to getting into "good" watches my favorite was my Casio Sea Analog Illumiator - a great little beater; here it is on the ISO that came with my Laguna:

And what watch guy worth the name WIS doesn't have a G-Shock?  This one was worn by Bear Grylls in season 4 of Man vs Wild:

I've recently gotten into buying straps - a way to enjoy this hobby without spending a lot of money!  I inherited my Dad's old Movado and put it on a NATO; too small for my wrist but I wear it anyway, in his memory:

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I'm impressed by how welcoming watch guys always are - even when my entire collection has about 20% the value of just one of their watches! you rock.gif
