Very nice Nick. I assume you got them from your pal you were seeing this weekend. :D They look great.

What are the specs on those? Sapphire crystals? Lug width? Thanks for any info and again, these are a nice set to have!

You are correct Pax, that's where I got them...here are some specs..

44mm
Screw Down Crowns
Sapphire front and back
Also have the higher end polished and stroped 6497 movements

Right now they have 26mm straps on them, you can put a 24mm on and it would show more of the wire lug...26mm is max

You've got to be careful on eBay and look at the pics CLOSELY!  I've noticed a few sellers that PHOTOSHOP a BOGUS name brand OVER "Panerai" and usually say, "Real, you'll be SURPRISED, etc" in the description.

Some to look out for are "DCSMITHSONIAN" http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=300236574638

UFANTA http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=160255027057

TORINO  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=270250450655

I emailed one of these guys and asked what it really says, and they told me it indeed says, "PANERAI"  Blatent fakes, posing as homages!  Buyer Beware and Pay close attention to the pics!
