We appreciate your comments and designs but we are not looking to re-design this watch completely with exception of hands which we are waiting on and 12hr marker ....redesigning the watch is not the purpose of this thread...TYhand6.gif....slinky TY for your caseback submission but it is also not what we are looking for and doubt the whole optical illusion thing would crossover onto SS without the black and white but again it is not what we are looking for....everyone needs to know we are under a very tight timeline in order to get this watch to production in time for X-Mas delivery and to redesign it at this time would push us into next yearthankyou.gif

Where did my message go? Was it deleted?! It's was a rather harmless suggestion...

Anyway, here some ideas for the caseback :)

Nice job Zarith.  All by hand huh; that's talent.  I wonder how it will look in SS.

Hey Zarith, I'm in the same boat as you: my post supporting your design got deleted as well--not sure why.  Regardless, for what it's worth, I think your dial design for the Cave Dweller is/was absolutely killer!  Like your caseback design as well!!

as I mentioned TY for the effort but we are not looking to redsesign the watch/dial as mentioned in my post above and to leave the post/design would cause confusion as to where Keith and myself are going with this watchthankyou.gif I will be posting the latest factory pics here shortly with multiple angles along with the bracelethand6.gif...#4 on the caseback design looks Awesome! yourock.gif

I really like #4 also, may want to consider adding "CaveDweller" to it, like #3.

Oscar, I think you mentioned this watch will have the Myota Auto in it, based on my experience over the weekend with the Barracuda i think that is a great idea.  I set it Friday morning, put on a different watch Saturday morning letting it sit 24 hours and put it back on Sunday, the time was within 2 seconds of what it was when I set it on Friday....that ain't bad.

The Barracuda is the first Myota auto I ever purchased, always kind of stayed away from them, based on this performance it will not be the last.

Here are the latest renderings from the factory where we stand right now and both Keith and myself are very pleasedhand6.gif

There will be a slight change in the 12hr dial marker and hands that we liked and as soon as those CAD drawings arrive from the factory we will post them for comparison and opinionsthankyou.gif

This is how #4 would look on brushed SS:

The design might be too busy. I'll try to simplify it...

oagaspar: that's a fat monster!
