OK, so I'm a total noob on here and learning an astornomical amount from everyone everyday, thus I only just learned what 'hack' means and learned that Miyota 8215s don't hack which was disappointing to me. Question, for watches whose second hands don't stop, how do you ever set the second hand? when it runs out of power? or does one not use a Miyota for perfectly calibrated seconds? As always, your insight is appreciated. ... oh, and I even did a search this time before posting, but didn't find what I was looking for. -marc Last edited on Mon Sep 29th, 2008 05:17 pm by Nizzler |

Howdy Canuck! More often than not you'll find people tend to just back up the minute hand a bit and it stops the second hand from proceeding. That gets you by. For the most part I don't mind whether a watch hacks or not. Welcome to 3T!! nice to have another from the Great White North
