So I was out drinking with some clients in Seattle last night (good timing, come to Seattle in the middle of the biggest snow storm they have had in years) got back to the hotel and was doing some channel surfing and came across our old friend TT on Slop with Wing from Android selling the new Predator Dive watch....I have not made a drunken watch purchase in years but at the time this seemed like a pretty good deal, 48mm with 2824 movement in a nice looking package for $238....we will see when it arrives next week I can always send it back.

What do you guys think.

I was perusing Slop today and picked 1 up in black Nick ...subtlelaugh.gif

Androids are a great value if Wing doesn't go overboard with the design and figured at that price with an eta if I didn't care for it my Son or Daughter would...

Whenever I would come home late at night when i was an undergrad I'd flip through the channels and also watch those guys, good thing I had no money back then, or I would have made a few drunk purchases. Now I just have a ganders over the internet every now and then, the good thing is that they don't ship overseas...

Really, an ETA 2824 for just over $200?  And it looks really good.  IMO that's a great pickup.

The cyclop magnifies NOTHING...Look the video!
The lume "second to none"?? subtlelaugh.gif
For the price: I'm not impressed...Saw cheaper and find you way cheaper again!
Get an ETA 2824-2 watch for 175$ here for exemple:
http://cgi.ebay.com/AUTOMATIC-Watch-military-2824-2-swiss-ETA-25-jewels-/370460404274?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item5641292a32#ht_4227wt_1139

You don't trust the Bay? I give you a 200meters diver made by a reputable Swiss watch-maker: 278$ on sale!
http://www.westcoastime.com/olwanewk2wah.html
And the list goes on amigos...
There's a bunch of 200-300 buks watches with the 2824-2 on the market.
I've never seen the ShopNBC show otherwise than on Utube and I'm somehow glad that it don't exist in Norway...
Like this, we can get drunk without fearing the Invictator monster....

Well Will lives on eBay and Nick still secretly watches Slop!! SHEESH!!whichone.gif

I have to confess to still receiving daily emails telling me what the "top values" are on slop so I saw this. Nice looking, all the right bits. Just one thing stopped me. I would have been supporting these douche canoes by making the purchase!! BLECH! Why not wait a week when Tim P or some other flipper puts one up on a forum?
