If everyone can remember, what was your very first watch? I cannot remember the exact model, but I do remember wearing as my very first watch a simple Casio digital display type of watch with a rubber diver's style strap that my Dad bought me. I do however remember years later stepping up to the Swatch Watch, I remember the black face on black strap Swatch Watch, and then a white face with black strap Swatch Watch after that.

Don't know if those brain cells work anymore, but I vaguely remember in childhood wearing a... and nobody better laugh... a Mickey Mouse watch - Hamilton or Bulova maybe? Mickey's arms were the hour and minute hands.... :dude:

awww! how cute.... LOL! Just kidding! :P Hey that's cool - I actually remember wishing I had one when I was a kid back then! LOL! Although I really do wish I had kept whatever first watch I had for sentimental reasons. ... and your Mickey Mouse watch back then would really be cool to have now! ;) Last edited on Fri Mar 9th, 2007 11:17 pm by ern1911 |

I remember and still have it! In fact I just past it down to my son for x-mass. It is a hotwheels watch. With the two cars as the second hand that race around the dial. I believe I got it in 1970/71.

CJ...............I didn't think you were old enough to remeber that...........that was back in the days when all TV (with the exception of a few old British movies) was live. My 1st watch, I'm sure, was a Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck, but the 1st "real" watch I had was in high school. It was a Mido and got stolen out of my locker during a football practice!

I don't remember my VERY first; cause I was probably 6 or 7. I do remember having a Casio Databank and a Casio Worldtime. My "first" watch that I still have is a Q & Q Dive Watch that I picked up in Aruba around 1985. I still wear it every now and then. . .
