My daughter in Minnesota sent me a similar photo recently from their friends in an adjacent Minneapolis suburb.  Except it was a night photo and you could see two bright eyes near the sliding glass door checking out two little kids playing on the kitchen floor.  It was a mountain lion!

We recently moved to a more rural area and now we see deer in our backyard sometimes.  So this kinda hits home.  I put this photo as our desktop pic to see what my wife says.  Thanks for posting such a great picture!

We have a deer feeder in our back yard and see them all the time but never has one come this close to the house.  We did twice have bears come to within 10 feet of the house and tear down our bird feeder.  A bear also destroyed my bee hives once.  Its nice to have all this wild life around even when some thing get smashed.  Makes life more interesting.woohoo.gif

Yes very true.  The wildlife makes life much more interesting.  Very glad we moved out here from a more urban area.  Beehives huh?  That brings back memories.  My grandfather had beehives when I was growing up.  I was always amazed by being able to go right up to them and they won't sting.  (as long as you watch your p's and q's)  :)  Sounds like you have your hands full out there.  My small fish pond is my beehive... except no honey, just algae!subtlelaugh.gif

Yes, I have a small orchard and I got the bees for pollination. The honey is an extra bonus.yourock.gif I didnt get a chance to replace my hives after the bear tore them up.  The game comission paid me to replace the hives but if I dont put up fencing around them and it happens again they wont pay.  I have been so busy installing an outdoor wood furnace that i didnt get to set up my hives.  The fruit harvest probably wont be too good this year.  I have a small 250 gallon garden pond also. I know all too well about algae.  I will just be happy for winter to be over so i can get outside and get some work done.
