When you got out of the car, did you remember to mention that you were driving the VALVOLINE CHEVY MONTE CARLO while drinking a coke with your Sprint cap on. :D :D :D

Looks awesome! Did you get any calls from Hendrick or Roush motorsports! woohoo.gif

Hey Ken,

I didn't know you were from the Chicago area.  I grew up on the south side.  How about you.

Born and raised in Oak Park...spent a lot of time down in the Hyde Park area of the South Side.

Hey Keith,

You drove an open wheel Indy car at the Texas Motor Speedway?  You were alone in the car then?  It must have been a dream on the banked turns.  I'd be afraid to drive that kind of a car on that track.  My instructor really liked to hug the wall and with open wheels, well, I don't even want to think about it.

Yeah, I was alone.  They also have a two-seater that you can go with a pro.  You get to go faster, but I think that doing it myself was better.  I went out alone, but had to follow the instructor.  You have to follow a certain distance and if you don't get too close or don't fall too far behind, they know that you're comfortable and they will gradually increase speed.

It was totally cool!
